ALL householders in their own property or in a privately
rented property are eligible for partial (50%) funding
for cavity wall and loft insulation, whilst those who
fulfill certain benefit, credit, allowance or age criteria
are eligible for a full grant.
Professional installation is a must.
Uninsulated cavity walls lose 33% or more of the heat
generated within the property. So for an uninsulated
house that’s £1 of heat escaping for every £3 spent
heating it. If your house was built after 1930 then
your property should have cavity walls which may need
insulating.
Luckily, government funded grants are available, ranging
from 50% - 100%, keeping your costs to a mimimum. With
the current cost of buying energy, cavity wall insulation
will pay itself back in short order.
Our experienced installers, equipped with all the necessary
tools and equipment, should complete the whole process
in 2-3 hours depending on the size of the property.

Does your property have cavity walls?
It will have been built after the 1920's.
In the case of brick constructed houses if the bricks
are all laid “side-on” and the walls are about 300mm
(12in) thick, they probably have cavities.
Its brick pattern will be similar to the image on the
left below.
If they have a regular pattern of “side on and end
on” brickwork they are usually 225mm (9in) - or the
brick length - thick and more likely to be solid walls:
Cavity wall brick pattern is NOT as shown on the lower
right image which shows a typical solid brick wall.
