    Waiting?

Waiting for winter? Don't wait, demand for cavity wall and loft insulation is very high across the whole industry at the moment. Please read the note at the top of the Home Page.

    Who pays?

Who actually provides the funding for the grant?

The energy companies pay for the grant under a govenment initiative. It is in order that the energy companies reduce their carbon emissions and therefore the UK's overall carbon footprint.

    Paperwork.

Our surveyors will complete all the paperwork for you once they have ensured your eligibility for the grant.

HOME INSULATION GRANTS FOR LANDLORDS. PLEASE USE THE FORM BELOW IF YOU ARE A LANDLORD WISHING TO INSULATE MORE THAN ONE PROPERTY.

Insulation Grants are available the occupiers of privately rented properties as it is they who pay the fuel bills.

For tenants aged 70 or over, or for those whose main income is the state pension, or if they receive a qualifying tax credit or benefit, tenants will not have to pay anything towards the cost of insulation.

If tenants qualify for a partial grant only, it is they who should contribute the remainder. However, you may feel that the improvement to your property resale value justifies paying the difference yourself, whilst taking advantage of the fact that your tenants qualify your property for the grant.

As a private landlord or property management company, your requirement is to give written permission prior to works being carried out.

Landlords: If you have just one property needing insulation, please complete our main application form nearrest the top of the page on behalf of your tenant. Please use your own contact details, i.e. telephone number, email address but give the property address and postcode. If you have several properties, please use the second form provided, providing your own contact details and the number of properties you wish to insulate.

Please note that flats cannot have cavity wall insulation fitted unless all flats directly above and below also have it fitted.
